What You’ll Do
- Assist in adult cardiothoracic surgeries, including complex procedures
- Support surgical team with intraoperative assistance
- Use robot-assisted surgical equipment
- Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and other staff
- Document procedures accurately in Epic EMR
- Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care
- Follow hospital protocols and best practices for cardiac surgery
What You Need
Required:
- Active Wisconsin Physician Assistant license
- Board certification in PA
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- DEA license
- At least 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience, with 1-year as a first assist in CVOR
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and robotic surgical equipment
Preferred:
- Experience in adult cardiothoracic surgery with complex cases
