What You’ll Do

• Provide urgent care services to a diverse patient population, ages birth to death
• Perform procedures including laceration repairs, I&D, foreign body removal, splinting, and basic orthopedic stabilization
• Interpret X-Rays and EKGs; review rapid lab tests (strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV)
• Manage epistaxis, cerumen impactions, and airway support as needed
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
• Support a high-volume outpatient clinic with 25-50 patients daily, depending on the season

What You Need

• Active Virginia Physician Assistant license
• Minimum 3+ years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience, preferably with pediatrics
• Proficiency in suturing, I&D, orthopedic stabilization, and point-of-care testing
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
