What You'll Do

• Provide urgent care services for a diverse patient population from birth to death
• Perform minor procedures such as laceration repairs, I&D, and foreign body removals
• Manage musculoskeletal injuries including splinting, casting, and joint reductions
• Interpret X-rays, EKGs, and point-of-care lab tests (e.g., rapid strep, flu, COVID-19 tests)
• Stabilize acute conditions and coordinate referrals for higher-level care when necessary
• Document all patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR
• Support patient education and follow-up care as needed

What You Need
Required:

• Valid Physician Assistant license in Virginia
• Basic life support (BLS) certification
• Prior outpatient/urgent care experience preferred

Preferred:

• Ability to handle high patient volumes and diverse cases
• Strong procedural skills in suturing, I&D, and ortho stabilization
