Join Rochester Regional Health's growing Orthopedic team and become part of a collaborative, high-performing group dedicated to delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care. As a Physician Assistant, you'll play an integral role in the management of orthopedic patients across the continuum of care, working alongside experienced surgeons, APPs, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists.

SCHEDULE: Days/Evenings

 

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and manage patients with operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions across the inpatient setting.
  • Perform histories, physical exams, interpret imaging, order diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
  • First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures and provide comprehensive perioperative care.
  • Perform orthopedic procedures, including joint injections, and manage acute orthopedic patient needs.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, APPs, nurses, therapists, and consulting services to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, recovery expectations, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, prescribe medications, enter orders, and support quality and educational initiatives.

  • Prior orthopedic experience required

PAY RANGE $100,000.00 - $150,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
