- License/Certs: Active California license, DEA required, BC in cardiothoracic surgery preferred
- Experience: Prior perioperative and inpatient cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery experience required

What You’ll Do:
- Rounding on postoperative inpatients
- Assisting in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries as first assist
- Seeing patients in outpatient clinics, including pre- and post-op care
- Interpreting EKGs, X-rays, labs, and diagnostic data (ECMO, IABP, Impella)
- Managing complex cardiac cases, including radial artery harvesting and endoscopic procedures
- Participating in on-call coverage, responding promptly to beeper calls
What You Need:
- Current, active California medical license
- DEA registration
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery or related specialty
- 3+ years of experience in inpatient/perioperative cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery
- Skilled in endoscopic procedures, interpreting diagnostic tests, and emergency support (ECMO, IABP)
- Able to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
