Outpatient Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About this role: 

As an Outpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Provider at Utah Valley Clinic, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will join a team of five dedicated outpatient neurologists and one epilepsy APP, as well as be part of the larger Neuroscience Institute group, including in-person and tele-neurohospitalists, neuro critical care physicians, outpatient neurologists, neuro and spine PM&R physicians, neuro-psychologists and psychiatrists.

Utah Valley Hospital is a level II trauma facility with a Join Commission certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center.

In this role, you can anticipate:

• Practicing at Utah Valley Clinic in Provo, Utah
• Standard clinic hours M-F, 8-5 (32 patient-facing hours)
• Optional hospital shifts with Neurohospitalist team
• Seeing general neurology patients, with a focus on stroke and TIA follow-ups

An ideal candidate for this position will have prior neurosciences experience.

What you’ll bring: 

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed as PA or NP in the state of Utah or able to obtain
• Board certification by AANP, ANCC or NCCPA
• Current BLS for healthcare providers
• DEA and full prescriptive authority in Utah
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
