About the FellowshipTeamHealth's hospital medicine APC fellowship program offers six months of structured, hands-on training designed for newly graduated NPs and PAs pursuing a career in inpatient medicine. Through one-on-one mentorship, clinical rotations, and didactic learning, fellows gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to transition successfully into HM practice.
Fellows work alongside experienced hospital medicine physicians and APCs in a collaborative environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, professional growth, and patient-centered care.
Fellowship Location and Attendance RequirementsThe TeamHealth hospital medicine APC fellowship is hosted at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Fellows will complete their clinical training and educational activities onsite at this facility throughout the duration of the program.

- Relocate to the Myrtle Beach area for the duration of the fellowship
- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Grand Strand Medical Center
This fellowship is a hands-on, immersive training experience and is not eligible for remote participation. Fellows are expected to maintain a consistent onsite presence to fully engage in clinical rotations, educational programming, and mentorship opportunities.

Career Opportunities Following FellowshipUpon successful completion of the fellowship, graduates may be considered for full-time hospitalist APC opportunities within TeamHealth's South East Division hospital medicine network. Geographic preferences are considered whenever possible, though placement is based on organizational needs and available opportunities.
