Medcor is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide PRN coverage in our employer-based clinic in Albuquerque, NM.

This advanced care clinic focuses on occupational health, primary care, urgent care, preventive services, and medical surveillance. This is a great opportunity for a provider looking to pick up occasional weekday shifts in a collaborative worksite clinic setting.

The Opportunity

You’ll work alongside onsite medical staff and Medcor’s clinical and operational teams to provide high-quality care to employees.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses
• Provide urgent and episodic care
• Support primary and preventive care services
• Perform surveillance and regulatory examinations
• Provide patient education and healthy lifestyle coaching
• Document care using Medcor’s EMR and clinical tools
• Collaborate with workplace health, safety, HR, and benefits teams
• Support workplace wellness and preventive health programs

Qualifications & Work Requirements

Required

• Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current, unrestricted New Mexico license
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative, patient-focused approach
• Comfortable working in an onsite employer-based clinic environment
• Strong commitment to customer service

• Occupational health

Important: This position is scheduled on an as-needed basis only. Hours are not guaranteed, but providers with availability to pick up occasional weekday shifts are encouraged to apply.
