Hospitalist Advanced Practice Clinician in Palatka, FL

This full-time position offers a highly desirable 7-on/7-off block schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance while practicing in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Position Highlights

• Full-time HM position
• 7 days on/7 days off schedule
• Monday through Sunday block rotation
• Day shift hours: 7am to 7pm

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and daily rounds
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hospitalized adult patients
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EMR
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, consultants, and hospital staff

Qualifications

• Current Florida NP or PA license (or eligibility)
• Board certification as an NP or PA
• Prior hospital medicine, inpatient, internal medicine, critical care, or emergency medicine experience required
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
