We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated APP to join our Endocrinology team with a split location between Ann Arbor and Livonia. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment. Our practice specializes in disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, and adrenal glands, as well as osteoporosis and diabetes. Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Active Michigan license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS certification (must be maintained); ACLS preferred
  • Previous endocrinology, primary care, or internal medicine experience preferred

Duties & Responsibilities 

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care for individuals with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and other hormonal conditions
  • Performing patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and managing follow-up care in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Ordering, interpreting, and monitoring diagnostic tests and laboratory results
  • Educating patients and families on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Documenting patient encounters and treatment plans in Epic EMR
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects
