Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida.

Qualified Candidates

·       Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of in-patient experience required

·       Three years of experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonary is a plus

·       Acute Care certified preferred for NP or Critical Care experience preferred for NP or PA

·       DEA license is required

·       Current BLS, ACLS certification

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Willing to work 11am – 7pm, Monday thru Friday (8-hr. shifts; must commit to working three shifts per month)

About Our Hospitalist Program

·       No Procedures / No Codes

·       Open ICU, intensivist coverage

·       Dedicated Nocturnist Team of one remote physician and one APP on site; 7pm to 7am

·       Hospital Medicine Team includes 4 full-time physicians & 2 full-time APPs
