Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hospitalist (Bloomington Hospital)

IU Health Medical Group is hiring! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team at Bloomington Hospital! 

Position Details:

• Full-Time
  • Days
  • Schedule- Varies week to week 
  • Rotation- Schedule includes weekend rotation with no more than 1 in every 2 weekends
• No call
• 100% Inpatient
• No procedural requirements

Patient Population:

• Adult patients in the inpatient setting coming from the South Region in and around Bloomington, which includes the college student population and those from more rural areas. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing hospital admissions, in collaboration with a physician, along with rounding responsibilities.
• APP will also provide cross coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

• ACNP, FNP or PA certifications required
• Experience preferred but new grads are considered
• APP should have strong desire to work at the top of their license and have multiple years' experience working as either a Hospitalist APP or ICU APP.
• If new to the workforce, would prefer for the APP's training to include significant time in the inpatient setting.
