What You’ll Do
- Support occupational health unit providers and staff in managing work-related injuries and illnesses
- Develop and execute treatment plans, including injections, suturing, splinting, and vaccinations
- Manage work restrictions, return-to-work evaluations, and case documentation
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as PFTs, labs, and imaging
- Collaborate with staff on case management including workers’ compensation cases
- Conduct DOT physicals and perform joint/tendon/bursa aspirations and injections
- Support daily operations in a fast-paced occupational health setting
What You Need
Required:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Michigan license and DEA
- BLS and DOT/FMCSA certifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Preferred:
- Experience in occupational injury and illness management
- Skills in musculoskeletal injections, suturing, and PFT interpretation

This position supports an occupational health clinic at a leading facility providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries. The provider will assist with patient care, procedures, and case management for employees at a busy meat packing plant, ensuring safe and efficient return-to-work processes.
