Prairie Family Medicine, part of Praxis Health, is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our community-rooted, outpatient primary care practice in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

For nearly two decades, Prairie Family Medicine has been part of the Coeur d’Alene community, growing from an independent, physician-owned family practice into a trusted home for generations of local patients. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner who wants the relationship-centered focus of a smaller practice, the collegiality of an experienced clinical team, and the opportunity to play a meaningful role for the health and wellness of the community.

Highlights

• Base salary guarantee: $130,000 - $140,000, + production bonus
• Incentives: Sign-on bonus/ Retention
• 4-day workweek: 16-18 patients per day — work-life balance, by design

Minimum Qualifications

• Required: 2+ years Primary Care experience as a licensed NP 
• Required: Passion for Primary Care
• Required: Demonstrated clinical experience and proficiency in providing comprehensive Primary Care
• BE/BC
• Passionate about whole-person, community-based care
• Comfortable seeing patients across the lifespan
• Excited to join a mission-driven team with strong values and deep community roots
• Clinical competency and expertise in caring for Primary Care patients
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
• Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
