Job Summary

Tower Health Reading Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for our Reading Hospital Orthopedic Surgery patients, including but not limited to total joint patients, and orthopedic trauma patients. The advanced practitioner will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, in collaboration with physicians and staff.  

 

With 24 Operating Rooms and multiple specialties our OR will provide you with a challenging and rewarding career. You will establish a collaborative relationship with physicians, anesthesia, and other personnel to provide direct patient care within the specialty.

 

 

Position details:

Advanced Practice Provider for the floor/inpatient support of the program

  • Performs inpatient rounding on post-op total joint patients 
  • Facilitates multidisciplinary coordination of care
  • Performs discharge and follow-up
  • Cross cover and collaborate with trauma orthopedic APPs and Total Joint Program APP
  • Work with surgeons, physicians, and other clinical staff to determine the best care for every patient
  • Provide patient education and patient contact post op
  • Active member on orthopedic committees including joint program and other performance improvement committees related to orthopedic patients
