Advanced Practice Provider LGBTQ+ Primary Care

You will work as part of Intermountain's LGBTQ+ Primary Care Clinic to deliver high-quality, culturally competent, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population. This role entails providing general primary care for LGBTQ+ patients (18+), including management of HIV pre/post exposure prophylaxis, gender affirming hormone therapy, and care of patients living with HIV.

  • Competitive Compensation.
  • Incentives: Up to $7,500 relocation bonus (if applicable).
  • Hours/Shift: 36 Patient-facing hours, 4 days per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current state license as a Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Credentialing requirement).
  • Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V.
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Other certification as required (e.g. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree. Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
  • Experience in gender-affirming care, management of HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), care of patients living with HIV, and prior primary care experience
