Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner - AHMC

The Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC) Gastroenterology team is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to adult patients in Malone, New York.

This outpatient-focused role offers the opportunity to evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of GI conditions while helping expand access to specialty care in the North Country and collaborating with providers across UVM Health.

Schedule

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE
• 40 hours per week
• Outpatient clinic setting
• No call responsibilities
• No weekend coverage
• Telemedicine component serving New York patients

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage adult GI patients
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
• Coordinate care with GI specialists across UVM Health 
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and support staff

What We're Looking For
Required

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State (or eligible for licensure)
• Minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, GI experience preferred
• Eligible for DEA registration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred

• NP Gastroenterology experience
• Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Hospital Medicine experience
• Interest in specialty GI care

Compensation

• $67.48- 89.97/hr.
