Position Overview

St. Mary's General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to provide excellent patient care while supporting daily practice operations.
Operating room (OR) experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care while maintaining professional and clinical standards.
Support the daily management and operations of the practice.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and other patient care procedures.
Maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and internal and external partners.
Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ensure attention to detail and adherence to established clinical standards.

Qualifications
Required:
Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA) license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA), or the ability to obtain and maintain certification upon hire.
Operating room (OR) experience.
Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Bilingual communication skills.

St. Mary's General Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $104,000.00 to $139,963.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
