Position Overview 

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join the inpatient medicine team at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida. 

This full-time Nocturnist opportunity is ideal for an APP who enjoys inpatient medicine, acute clinical decision-making, and working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams. 

Position Highlights 

• 7-on / 7-off schedule 
• 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shifts 
• Hospital-based inpatient medicine 
• Collaborative, team-based practice environment 
• Care for hospitalized patients across a broad range of medical conditions 
• Support of AdventHealth Medical Group and an integrated health system 

Clinical Responsibilities 

• Provide overnight care for patients on the hospitalist service 
• Support hospital admissions and inpatient management 
• Participate in acute clinical assessment and decision-making 
• Coordinate care with hospitalist physicians, specialists, nursing, and multidisciplinary team members 
• Support patient-centered plans of care and continuity of inpatient care

Candidate Qualifications

• APRN or PA-C 
• Board Certified in applicable certification 
• Hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred 
• Eligible for Florida licensure 
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills 
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care
