What You’ll Do
- Support cardiothoracic surgeons and surgical teams in the operating room
- Perform technical and clinical procedures including vein and radial artery harvests, chest tubes, lines, and intubation/extubation
- Assist with robotic lung procedures (preferred but not required)
- Document patient progress using Epic EMR system
- Support patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Perform endoscopic vein harvests and place central/arterial lines
- Participate in potential call rotation as needed
What You Need
- Valid State License in Wisconsin
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- 1-2 years of cardiothoracic surgical experience, including first assist in CVOR
- DEA license
- Excellent technical skills and clinical knowledge in cardiac surgery
