Job Summary:
Mission Health is excited to welcome experienced trauma physician assistants to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina.Qualified Candidates:
- Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams
- Requires experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting
- Experience with autonomy re: admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients
- Work with a large, stable and established group of surgeons
- Surgical Resident interaction and support on trauma; surgical critical care
- 100% inpatient
- Minimum 6 shifts required per two-week pay period
- Day, night and float shifts required
- Shift incentives available for exceeding minimum shift requirement
- Limited OR time, with ample opportunity to perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor
