Inpatient Trauma & Trauma/Surgical ICU Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Position Overview: Inpatient Trauma/Trauma & Surgical ICU Advanced Practice Provider (APP) delivers direct patient care consistent with the APP’s education, experience, and certification, in collaboration with the attending Trauma Surgery physicians. This includes a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced, evidence-based care to critically ill patients. The APP will be expected to have a thorough understanding of trauma care and management, including advanced skills in assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute and critically ill patients.

Work Environment:
The APP will work at Cleveland’s most experienced Level 1 Trauma Center at MetroHealth’s primary facility in Cleveland. This role requires adaptability, flexibility in scheduling, and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality care across diverse clinical settings. The position includes day shift coverage, with potential for night shift coverage based on staffing needs. Holiday and weekend coverage is required. Shifts may vary but primarily will be 12 hours length.
