NP/PA - Hospitalist - Merrill, Wisconsin

Aspirus Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our hospitalist team in Merrill, Wisconsin

Practice broad-spectrum Hospital Medicine in a supportive, community-focused environment with meaningful clinical autonomy and strong collegial support.

OPPORTUNITY: 

• 7 days on/7 days off
• 12-hour shifts, mix of days and nights
• Average daily census
  • Days: 10-12 patients
  • Nights: 15-20 with cross coverage
  • Typically 2-5 admissions per shift
• Overnight tele-hospitalist support
• 24/7 support telemedicine support including IM, ID, Neuro, Cardio, and Tele-Stroke
• Will provide coverage for open ICUs and for ICU level patients, and are members of the code team 
• ED physician on site 24/7 and is available to respond and assist for codes and rapid response 
• Expanding daytime physician team with the growth of our Aspirus Merrill Hospital Hospital Medicine program
• Epic EMR or documentation support
