Position Summary:

The Rehabilitation Specialist provides timely scheduling, insurance verification, and authorization for patients accessing rehabilitation services. Under the general direction of Physical/Occupational Therapists and licensed Assistants, assists services to all patients. The Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for completing all duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Experience:

• One (1) year of experience in a relevant clinical environment is preferred.
• One (1) year of experience with medical office preferred.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current verification in Basic Life Support (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, must be obtained within 3 months of hire).
