* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Maintain accurate medical coding and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Stay updated on medical terminology and dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
* Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols.
* Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
*Qualifications*
* Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
* Experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred.
* Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
* Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
