*Summary: *Seeking 3-6 months of PT/Lymphedema Therapy coverage for existing program at Radiation Oncology + Breast Surgical Oncology Cancer Center: Lymphedema Therapy/Oncology Rehabilitation/Pre/Post-Surgical Physical Therapy Rehabilitation. Potential for role to continue following coverage period.
*Work Schedule: *M-F 8:30am-5pm

*Practice Summary: *Fresno Cancer Center (FCC) is a progressive cancer center in the heart of California's central valley. FCC currently provides state-of-the-art cancer care in Radiation Oncology and Breast Surgical Oncology (Central Valley Breast Care) with efforts to add Medical Oncology / Infusion in the coming year. Our team is dedicated to delivering the best quality cancer care including attentive, personalized, and supportive care through the survivorship stage of the treatment process. *Requirements:*
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid CA state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Specialized training and certification in lymphatic therapy, such as Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) certification, CLT-LANA, CLT.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with a focus on the lymphatic system.
Proficiency in evaluating and diagnosing lymphatic conditions, including lymphedema.
Experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for lymphatic disorders.
Excellent manual therapy skills, including expertise in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD).
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform therapeutic techniques and assist patients with mobility.
Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach.
