At Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) in Buzzards Bay, we're expanding our emergency and critical care team to better support the pets and families who rely on us throughout Cape Cod and the Islands. As the demand for advanced veterinary care continues to grow, we're looking for dedicated and skilled Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technicians to join our overnight team. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience with critical cases, collaborate closely with specialty clinicians, and be part of something truly meaningful by delivering compassionate, high-quality care when it's needed most.
_*What You'll Do*_
As a member of our ECC nursing team, you'll be integral to managing critically ill or injured patients through every step of their care. You will:
* Perform emergency triage and obtain vitals
* Assist in stabilization and intensive care procedures
* Administer treatments, medications, and fluid therapy
* Monitor pain, vitals, and clinical trends in real-time
* Assist in anesthesia and emergency surgical prep
* Communicate directly with doctors, support teams, and families
* Use advanced EMR systems for efficient and accurate patient tracking
_*What We're Looking For*_
* Credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligibility within 6 months
* Minimum 2 years of ECC or emergency nursing experience
* VTS (ECC) candidates encouraged to apply
* RECOVER certified or interest in obtaining certification
* Strong interpersonal, technical, and critical thinking skills
* Positive, calm demeanor in fast-changing situations

* Competitive pay: $22-$32, based on experience, expertise, and equity. Most new hires can expect an offer in the minimal to midpoint of the pay range.
* $2/hr shift differential beginning after 10 PM
* Schedule is 3p to 11p swing shifts in Buzzards Bay.
* Full-time schedule is 4 shifts on, 3 days off with a weekend shift every week and a holiday shift rotation
