We are looking for a licensed Dental Hygienist who is passionate about oral healthcare delivery and patient education. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to provide a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, using both manual and ultrasonic instruments.
* Conduct initial patient screenings, including oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting.
* Take and develop high-quality diagnostic images, including digital radiographs as indicated.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Apply sealants and fluoride treatments.
* Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
* Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained.
*Qualifications:*
* Current and valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
* Proficiency with modern dental technology, including ultrasonic scalers, and intraoral scanners along with practice management software (OpenDental) is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
*Compensation & Benefits:*
* *Hourly Pay:* $40-$52 per hour, based on experience and skill level. New graduates are welcome to apply
