Looking for FT or PT veterinarian to join our small animal care team on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior. We are a privately owned, small town clinic about 20 minutes north of Duluth that prides itself on being a part of the community and caring for people and their pets. We offer in-house lab, digital x-ray, dental with digital dental x-ray, 30 minute appointments, and a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere. We are open to new graduates and mentoring. No on call or weekends

*Responsibilities*

* Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
* Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as prescribed.
* Perform surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring the highest standards of care.
* Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
* Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress.
* Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
* Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
* Handle animals with care and compassion during examinations and treatments.

*Qualifications*

* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
* Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and animal husbandry practices.
* Experience in veterinary critical care is a plus.
* Proficient in pet care techniques including dog handling and grooming.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing the best possible care.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
