Wellsential Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our Director of Nurses in leading our care team and delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a skilled nursing setting.
*What You'll Do:*
* Support the daily operations of the nursing department and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
* Partner with the DON to oversee clinical staff, optimize schedules, and ensure proper staffing coverage across shifts
* Help implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives and care improvement plans
* Assist in managing resident care, staff training, audits, documentation, and on-call coverage
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and physicians to ensure coordinated, compassionate care
* Jump in to support assessments, care planning, or compliance reviews as needed
*What You Bring:*
* *Current RN license* in the state of Texas
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a skilled nursing facility
* Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills
* RUG certification preferred (not required)
* Passion for mentoring clinical teams and enhancing quality of care
