*Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities*

* Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
* Treat patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
* Support pediatric and school-based therapy services as assigned
* Complete timely and accurate documentation
* Communicate with patients, families, physicians, school staff, and facility team members
* Assist with program development and department growth
* Support general department operations

*Physical Therapist Assistant Requirements*

* *Associate degree *from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
* Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain licensure
* Interest in hospital-based, outpatient, pediatric, and school-based care
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* New graduates may be considered
