Rendr is currently expanding and growing. We are seeking an Oncologist to join our incredible team for our newly renovated facility in Queens, NY. We are seeking someone with a passion to serving the underserved Asian community.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides complete, comprehensive, clinical care for all patients in the fields of internal medicine, hematology, and oncology.
  • Provides clinical care services including, but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care, preventive and health care maintenance to patients.
  • Works collaboratively with other providers and nurses to provide comprehensive, compassionate health care to all patients.
  • Reassesses progress of the disease as treatment progresses and pursue alternative therapies as needed, as well as palliative care when appropriate.
  • Maintains patients’ quality of life by managing cancer-related pain and other symptoms and side effects of treatment.
  • Maintains timely and detailed notes of appointments with patients.
  • Prepares official health documents or records, when necessary.
  • Participates in committees, quality assurance activities, and continuing medical education to maintain excellence in clinical practice.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology/Oncology/Internal Medicine.
  • Current and unrestricted New York State license and DEA number.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Chinese, required.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred but all welcome.
