Cooper University Hospital - Cape Regional Physicians Associates is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a thriving and highly respected academic cardiology program serving patients across Southern New Jersey.

This is an exceptional opportunity to practice the full scope of general cardiology within a collaborative, single-specialty group while benefiting from the resources and academic strength of Cooper University Health Care, the region’s leading academic medical center.

Physicians will join a busy and well-established cardiology practice in Cape May County, providing both inpatient and outpatient care alongside experienced cardiologists and advanced practice providers.

Position highlights:

  • High-volume inpatient and outpatient echocardiography, including:
    • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
    • Nuclear stress testing
    • Stress echocardiography
    • Active cardiac CT program
  • Access to robust tertiary cardiac programs at Cooper’s main campus in Camden, NJ, including:
    • High-volume invasive and interventional cardiology
    • Comprehensive structural heart program (LAAC, mitral repair, and TAVR)
  • Extensive electrophysiology program featuring:
    • Device implantation
    • Ablation procedures
    • Lead extraction
    • Active research initiatives
  • Established cardiac surgery program with expertise in:
    • Coronary artery bypass surgery
    • Valve surgery
    • Active ECMO program
  • Growing advanced heart failure program with plans to initiate LVAD services within the next year

Academic Opportunities:

Physicians may join the faculty of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University and participate in an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship program with 22 fellows.

Practice Setting:

The position is based at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional, the primary regional hospital for Cape May County.

Physicians will join a single-specialty cardiology team of three cardiologists and three advanced practice providers dedicated to serving the region. The program includes a busy inpatient service and thriving outpatient cardiology practice.
