Job Specifics

  • OSF Healthcare’s Cardiovascular Institute, a group of 55+ Cardiologists, is growing and looking to add a General Cardiologist to a practice in Galesburg, IL, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center.
  • Join a group of 3 general cardiologist and 2 APPs with the support of the larger CVI group
  • Opportunity to grow this practice into a hub for the region, and care for the sickest patients right in their community.
  • Collegial Physician group offers EP, Interventional, and Heart Failure outreach in the Galesburg location.
  • Outreach each week to nearby hospitals and clinics in more rural communities.
  • The OSF Cardiovascular Service Line, with headquarters in Peoria, IL, works in conjunction with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to provide the most comprehensive services available for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
  • Delivering our patients special care through CV surgery, MCS, Transplant, Aortic Center, Structural Heart, Advanced HF, Cardio One, Cardio OB, more than 300 STEMI’s a year.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Doctorate
  • Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
