Job Description

The Department of OB/Gyn and Women’s Health is comprised of 17 full-time physician faculty with representation of board-certified subspecialties of MFM, Gyn Onc, and FPMRS and members with focused practice in MIGS and Advanced Family Planning. Our team also includes three CNM and four women’s health NPs.

The department has a strong program of 24 residents that actively participate in section activities during their training. Current fellowship programs include FPMRS, minimally invasive gyn surgery, and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.


The Generalist Division provides complex obstetrical care to a diverse population with support from our MFM colleagues. We teach a steady stream of bright learners from Kentucky and beyond. We value teamwork, collegiality, great care for every patient and keeping a sense of humor through it all.

Responsibilities: 

  • direct patient care, mentoring medical students, collaborating with other faculty, quality and safety, and academic projects.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • board certification or eligibility,
  • qualifications to obtain an unrestricted Kentucky Medical License.
