The Division of Endocrinology at Albany Medical College is currently recruiting for an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. In this role, you will be active in clinical care and provide education to students, residents and fellows.
Responsibilities and Opportunities of the division include:
- Participate in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences (thyroid, pituitary, pathology)
- Exposure to a wide variety of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center
- Collaborate with a strong diabetes education team, including Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES)
- Utilize an ultrasonography suite for thyroid ultrasounds and FNAs
- Emphasize a collegial environment with a focus on multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Opportunity to work in specific areas of endocrinology (e.g., thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, transgender medicine) if interested.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MD/DO or equivalent with board certification/board eligibility in Endocrinology
- Strong commitment to education and teaching
- Must be prepared to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment
