Olmsted Medical Center (OMC), has a BC/BE position for an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Surgeon for our new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Owatonna, MN. This is a part-time or full-time position (25-40 hours per week) for an orthopedic surgeon with expertise and focus in sports medicine/Surgery.
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Orthopedic Surgery residency required. Additional completion of Sports Fellowship training program preferred
- New ASC along with multiple resources within our hospital and multi-specialty clinics.
- The Orthopedics department has four orthopedic surgeons, a nonsurgical sports medicine specialist, and a sports medicine and athletic training center. Team approach with APCs, athletic trainers, cast techs, and medical assistants
- Dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician to assist in OR and clinic
- Level IV trauma center
- Built in referral base from primary care providers and an APC-staffed orthopedic walk-in clinic.
- Guaranteed salary for 2 years followed by production-based salary. ($337,500 - $675,000 guarantee amount for 0.5-1.0 FTE). Earn more with rvu model.
Requirements:
- BC/BE Orthopaedic Surgery with an Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Fellowship
- MD/DO
- Active MN medical license
- BLS and additional certifications for Ambulatory Surgery Center
