Why El Paso
El Paso consistently ranks among the safest large cities in the United States — a distinction that speaks to the close-knit, community-oriented culture that defines life here. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, no state income tax, and a low cost of living, your compensation goes meaningfully further than in most major metros. The Franklin Mountains State Park and Hueco Tanks offer world-class hiking and climbing right in your backyard, while the city's rich Mexican-American heritage fuels a vibrant food, arts, and festival scene that makes everyday life genuinely enjoyable. Add in Division I universities, strong school options, and the economic stability anchored by Fort Bliss — one of the largest military installations in the country — and El Paso makes a compelling case for planting long-term roots.
