Job Description

The Department of Neurology at the University of Louisville/University of Louisville Health System, in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking applications for a BC/BE fellowship trained movement disorders academic neurologist to join our faculty. This position will see patients in the both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Position includes predominantly outpatient care duties, with inpatient general neurology service required approximately eight weeks per year.
  • Candidate would join a well-established clinical team of two movement disorder physicians with experienced clinical support outpatient staff
  • Clinic located in Frazier Rehab Institute, with access to a multi-disciplinary care team, including strong collaboration with neurosurgery
  • Part of the UL Health Brain and Spine Institute, a growing and collaborative neuroscience service line

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Board certified/board eligible by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Eligible to be state licensed in the United States
  • US residency or fellowship training
  • Outstanding communication, bedside manner, and professionalism; excellent organizational skills
  • A strong work ethic and capability for effective collaboration in the multi-disciplinary care of patients
