UofL Cardiology has been an integral part of a successful transplant center since 1984 and is one of the region's leading transplant hospitals, performing heart, lung, hand, liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants. The successful applicant will participate in all aspects of the HF and VAD clinical service, including inpatient and outpatient settings (mid-level providers are available to help), and work collaboratively with our excellent surgical team.

Responsibilities include teaching medical students, house staff, cardiology fellows, and an Advanced Heart Failure fellow. The candidate will also participate in clinical trials in heart failure and perform scholarly work. Call will be shared within the section of heart failure with three other physicians.
