APRN/PA Orthopedic Trauma

UofL Health /UofL Health Physicians Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, serving as a Surgical First Assist, managing clinic post-op care, and offering hospital consults for our Level 1 Trauma Center and affiliated hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in orthopedic surgeries as a Surgical First Assist.
• Provide post-operative care in clinic, including patient evaluations, follow-ups, and wound care.
• Conduct hospital consults for orthopedic patients in trauma and inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call coverage for trauma and emergencies as required.
