Location + Job Details 

  • Location: Maine and Colorado 
  • Start Date: 90-120 days out 
  • Credentialing: 90 days 
  • Schedule: 8am-10pm 
  • Details: Critical Access Hospital Tele Neurology Coverage 
  • RPG has hospitalist programs in Maine and Colorado, and the hospitals are looking to add Tele-Neurology coverage from 8am-10pm daily.  
  • Inpatient teleNeuro will be consulted on patients with:  
  • Altered mental status (neurological process suspected) 
  • Dementia 
  • Stroke (after NeuroStroke from tertiary hospital has been consulted per stroke protocol, Large Vessel Occlusion or other need for intervention has been ruled out, therefore cleared to stay at local rural hospital for further diagnostics and/or medication management).  
  • We will not be responsible for being on-call for acute stroke protocol, etc.  
  • Other conditions felt to be Neuromuscular (mostly outpatient follow up and workup, after basic inpatient workup/consultation.  
  • Average Encounters per day: 0-1 per facility (3 total facilities) 
  • Subspecialty Support: RPG Hospitalists on site 24/7 

 

Experience + Qualifications 

  • Must be comfortable working remotely 
  • Active CP & ME License or the ability to obtain 

 

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Independent Contractor (1099) 
  • Malpractice Insurance Covered  
  • Physician is paid via Collections
