Cooper University Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Endocrinologist to join the Cooper Care Alliance Network in Cape May, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal, and pituitary conditions.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage chronic endocrine conditions.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and care teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
- Assist with hospital consultations and rounding according to a set schedule.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle modifications.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation, ordering, and clinical communication.
Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Licensure: Valid and unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain), DEA license, and current BLS/ACLS certification
- Experience: Experience in ambulatory or outpatient care settings preferred
- Commitment: Dedication to culturally competent, equitable, patient-centered care and strong team collaboration
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
