Neonatologist Opportunity – Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital | Tucson, AZ

Join a Collaborative Neonatology Team in Sunny Tucson

Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital, a 486-bed facility and part of the Carondelet Health Network, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join its growing Women & Newborn Center. This is an exciting opportunity to help guide the development of our Level II NICU, with plans to advance toward Level III designation.

You’ll work in a collegial, well-supported environment that includes experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and a dedicated NICU nursing team, all focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality care to newborns and families.


Position Highlights

  • Level II NICU – average daily census - 5

  • On-site physician coverage 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

  • NNP coverage 2 p.m. – 8 a.m., with physician call-ins (30-minute response time)

  • Full-time schedule with equitable call rotation

  • Supported by hospital-based NNPs and nursing staff

  • Employment through Tenet Physician Resources (TPR)

Candidate Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Neonatology
