Job description

  • Location: Cortez, Colorado
  • 24 hour shift coverage
  • Details:
    • ICU Beds: 4
    • Acute Beds: 13
    • Swing Beds: average 4/utilize within the 13 medsurg acute bed
  • Acuity: Variable, Pneumonia, Sepsis, Weakness, DKA, Resp failure
  • Volume:
    • Max census: 20 (including Family birthing unit of 3 rooms)
    • Minimum census: 2-4
    • Average daily census: 8
    • Average weekly admissions: 12-20 approx.
    • Average daily discharges: 1-4
    • Average LOS: Med Surg: 4 days
    • 2025 (10 months ended October 2025) – 12 Total
      • Med/Surg: 5
      • ICU: 2
      • OBs (combined with med/surg & ICU): 1
      • Swing: 3
    •  2024 - 11 total
      • Med/Surg: 5

    • Standard:
      • 1900/shift - base
      • $100/shift - travel
      • $600/shift - PEDS coverage
      • Eligible for PRIME
      • 92% of billings
    • wRVU:
      • $2300/shift - base
      • $100/shift - travel
      • $600/shift - PEDS coverage
      • Eligible for PRIME
      • wRVU Threshold = 14.25
      • wRVU Payment above threshold average for the quarter = $29.69
