Job Summary   

UT Southwestern Medical Center, Division of Endocrine Surgery, is seeking a full-time Endocrine Surgeon in Fort Worth, Texas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, a patient-centered approach, and enthusiasm for contributing to an academic medical center committed to innovation, education, and outstanding outcomes.

Endocrine Surgery has a long and distinguished history within the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern. The practice was established in 1971 by Dr. William H. Snyder III and has since evolved into a dedicated division which is now home to six of the nine fellowship-trained endocrine surgeons in North Texas.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time clinical practice based in Fort Worth with access to UT Southwestern’s extensive multidisciplinary network
  • Opportunity to join a collegial, high-volume endocrine surgery group with a rich academic and clinical tradition
  • APP support at the Fort Worth location for clinical workload and intraoperative assistance
  • Engagement in resident and medical student education, as well as clinical or scholarly activities that advance the field of endocrine surgery

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery
  • Completion of an AAES Comprehensive Endocrine Surgery Fellowship
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure
  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
