Academic Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist – Join a World-Class Heart Center at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital
Position Overview
The Oklahoma Children’s Hospital and the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine invite applications for a full-time Academic Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the only congenital heart disease surgical program in Oklahoma and become part of a highly respected, rapidly expanding pediatric heart center providing quaternary-level care.
Our section is seeking a motivated, team-oriented physician who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and is committed to excellence in patient care, education, and academic growth. Candidates with additional pediatric cardiac anesthesia experience or training are welcomed—but those with strong pediatric anesthesia experience and a passion for congenital heart disease will also be considered and supported.

Board certification in Anesthesiology

Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology

Eligible for permanent, unrestricted Oklahoma medical licensure

Additional training or experience in pediatric cardiac anesthesia is preferred but not required

About the Role
Join a high-performing pediatric cardiac anesthesia team that provides perioperative care for:

500+ cases annually, including VAD and pediatric heart transplant
-
All congenital heart disease surgical procedures
-
Cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) cases
-
Non-cardiac surgeries for patients with heart disease
You will work alongside a skilled, dedicated team of pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists and CRNAs within a growing, innovative Heart Center.
