• Provide medical oncology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Participate in a tumor board
• Manage bone marrow transplant patients and related care activities
• Oversee blood bank coordination and support within treatment workflow
• Order and manage tests and imaging
• Prescribe and coordinate treatment plans, including oncology care needs
• Support care planning during the transition to perm, including call if placed (based on the outlined schedule)

About the Assignment
This Medical Oncology role provides locum coverage for a leading facility in Greenville, South Carolina, located in a free-standing cancer center. Coverage includes both outpatient oncology and inpatient oncology, supporting an adult/geriatric patient population; the practice mix includes 65% benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology with a team of 7 physicians and 6 APPs supporting coverage. During the locum period, there is no call, and if placed perm, call is expected on a schedule of 1 week out of every 6–8 weeks. Documentation/EMR: Epic.
