Job Description

About this role: 

This is a PRN position to help cover gaps in in clinic and call coverage at our Cardiothoracic Surgery program in the Front Range of Colorado. Opportunities for PRN shifts will be at Saint Joseph Hospital with some shared call at Lutheran Hospital.

Compensation for shifts in Denver, Colorado:  

  • $4,000 per 24 hour call shift

  • Travel and accommodations reimbursed via the Intermountain Travel and Expense policy

What you’ll bring: 

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine 

  • ABMS board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery  

  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one 

  • BLS certification and DEA 

  • Minimum 2 years of practice experience

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
