UVA Cardiology is seeking a General Cardiologist to join a well-established, community-focused practice within Culpeper Medical Center.

Opportunity Overview:  This position offers a balanced mix of outpatient general cardiology, diagnostic interpretation, and shared inpatient responsibilities.

Practice & Team Environment:  The cardiologist will join a collegial team of experienced cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers, supported by dedicated nursing staff, medical assistants, front-desk personnel, and clinic administrators. Additionally,

  Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient general cardiology clinics in Culpeper
  • Interpretation of echocardiograms and EKGs
  • Hospital-based cardiology call coverage at Culpeper Medical Center
  • Shared inpatient responsibilities with physician partners
  • Call coverage is shared and distributed among providers

Technology & Ancillary Services:

  • Echocardiography
  • Vascular studies
  • Stress testing
  • Nuclear medicine

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
  • Interest in community-based cardiology
